in a waiting room
New semester, same old college life. The lectures don't make enough sense, half-baked projects, blatant attendance requirement statements and what not? As much as I did not want to get into DSA training at the college again as I disdain systems which work over timers(for example- in exams),rankings and classifications, I took all the same. I wouldn't recommend sitting on your ass for four continuous hours regularly even for something you love to do. Nothing is as important as one's health is.
Friends, for one thing, can make a heaven out of hell. We were being explained largest area under histogram and in between came calculating smallest/greatest next number index, wherein a stack called waiting room was used. Unless a bigger number appears, the number has to wait in the stack or so. And out of nowhere, fyi i was extremely dizzy after the heavy lunch, i blurted out with surprise(on a sad- from reality + happy note- from discovery): "That's what we are all doing. We are all waiting in a waiting room called earth to die!". That line was enough for us to giggle/cry for next ten minutes. G added to this: "where/while the rich enjoy during the wait and the poor sit near the restrooms" and there we go laughing again.
I started the year in an unnavyaistic way. Saw Ikkis. Me and movies? I know but people change!(or maybe good movies get released) I think this line occurred twice- Do what is right, not what is easy. Pretty similar to what my Algos professor told- in life, many take upon the Greedy method while they should be choosing the Dynamic Programming approach iykyk.
